Under Mac OS X, any user including those without “Computer administrator” can use Nikon Scan 4.0. (When installing or uninstalling Nikon Scan 4.0.0, log in as the “Computer administrator” under Windows XP or “Administrator” under Windows 2000 Professional). Any user including those without “Computer administrator” (Windows XP) or “Administrator” (Windows 2000 Professional) can use Nikon Scan 4.0.0. This software requires Administrator privileges to install and operate. Turn off all virus-scanning software and exit any application that may be running before proceeding with this installation. 
Display: 800x1600 at Thousands of colors minimum. 200MB MB Hard disk space - OS 9.2.2 500MB - Mac OS X. Only Built-in USB or Ratoc PCIU3U supported. Installed RAM: 128 MB free RAM (512MB or more recommended). Hard-disk space: 32 MB required for installation. Exit Nikon Scan or any other application that may be running, and turn off all virus-checking software before installing or uninstalling Nikon Scan. Nikon Scan 3.1.X must be uninstalled before installing Nikon Scan 4.0.0.
